This is ME: Re-branded; My story
x"It's been a tough year, but I learned a lot about myself. I'm grateful for that."
As the year ends, seasons change and we change ... we have to let go and be ready for the new.
Did you ever notice the trees in the fall? I mean like really notice them. Every single year they are solid in their foundation with their roots buried deep. But every year trees go through so many major changes. And eventually they have to let go and watch a piece of themselves fall away. Itt will come back together, it always does, just differently. The trees trust in this process. They do not fight it - they just let go.
Part of the beauty is that after letting go they are never put back together the same again. There is new growth and beauty that grows in after the loss. New leaves, new patterns, new shades of colors. It all just enhances the existing deep rooted beauty of the tree.
And trees do this every.single. year.
Guess what??? So do we!
Humans do this all the time.
Some times on a larger scale of change and other times on smaller scales. But we are always letting go and growing and coming back together in new ways.
I am bravely sharing that I am a tree... same roots but emerging from some major changes and letting go (and letting go has never been my strong suite).
M new growth is slowly coming back in and adding new colors, patterns and beauty to my roots.
In doing so, it can not help but affect my artistic eye. I am more focused on human connection, the real emotions and stories of people around me and truly capturing a person/family/business and their story through my lens.
We all have stories to share!
I hope to photograph your story in 2020 and show the world YOU.
