Maryland's Newborn Photographer: New Beginnings
In sharing some of my own story - things have been rough in my world… Life falling part so it can come back together in new ways.
Today I started part of my new journey with SarahRachael Photography. Yesterday I packed up my home studio and, for the first time ever, moved into a store front space on N. Market Street in Frederick.
I have always dreamed of a store-front studio, complete with my puppy dog hanging out while I work (well the puppy part has not happened yet, but the new studio space has.).
It was just myself and two movers loading a truck and my van - when they pulled away in their truck loaded with my studio I would be lying if I said I didn’t cry. Change is hard, even when there is new opportunity that lies ahead. Leaving behind dreams and a vision you once had brings up all of the emotions. While moving to this new space brings so many new beginnings and good things for my studio, it also brings up other harder emotions. I let myself feel them all as I drove over to my new space to start setting up. I had one day to be ready for the first baby I was photographing in my new space.
So many things are still uncertain and hard - but you have to keep putting one foot in front of the other and believing wonderful things will happen.
All set and ready to take SRP to the next level.
Come and visit me!
